A Viewing Deck on Preikestolen

'A viewing deck on the Preikestolen' is an academic architectural design project. I completed this project for the 'Workshop basics' module with Professor Yves Dussilier during my international semester exchange program at Hochschule Luzern, Switzerland, in 2016-17. The module focused on onboarding the students to the material and wood workshop of HSLU; hence the final deliverable was a physical 3D model including a working model and concept sketches to explore spaces. The visualizations were created later to portray the concept of the viewing deck structure hanging off the cliff edge of the Pulpit Rock in Norway.

My Role:

I used a laser cutter with 5 mm MDF to create the model pieces, arranged and sprayed painted to a brilliant white. I also explored working model photography for interior space exploration.
